Default Hero weapon slots + dropdown slot for headpeice

I find it hard enough to manage all the different weapons I need for characters... doing the same for all my heros is just ridiculous. At this point, I won't even bother taking any more characters over because I just can't handle all the crap I need to outfit my heros with, and constantly logging in and out to grab one weapon from one hero and transport it to another is just not cutting it for me. Here is my proposal:

Introduce a weapon slot for heros that is account-wide, and can store 4-5 different weapons. When you click on their icon in your inventory, their worn-items interface would show up as normal, and on the left side would be a little tab with a bit of extra storage for that hero. You can access this storage on any character on your account, that has that hero unlocked. My idea is basically each hero functions like a mini little Xunlai-Agent.

Illustration (made in paint, bare with me.)

This would be incredibily useful, because not only could I organize/store all the weapons I need for that one hero in one space, I would only need one weapon set per hero for my entire account, rather than having to buy more and more and more stuff for my heros every single time I want to bring a character through elona and make use of the heros.

I suppose some will argue you could "abuse" the feature and use it to store other things... so what? Just one more perk to owning nightfall.

My other idea is similar to the first, but instead is focused on swapping around runes on headgear. This is a BIG hassel for me, and many others as well. I basically have olias set at perma-mm, because chaging to SS is just such a hassel having to salvage the superior death rune, log out, get switch MM staff with SS staff, switch Death rune with Curses rune....all for one mission? Come on anet, let's be realist here.

My idea for this issue is to have headgear on PvE heros function the same as headgear on Pvp. Once you add a rune to that headgear peice, you "unlock" it for that hero account-wide. When you want to switch, you can just click a little drop down menu, click the rune you need, and it would instantly take out the old, and add the new. These would no longer be physical items, but would work exactly like the pvp menu.

Thats my ideas.

/signed for the giving Heroes independant storage.

/notsigned on the second one because im not sure about it.

Unlocking things is a PvP thing, not a PvE thing.

I think a better way to solve this in PvE would be to allow people to actually change hero armor, or atleast headgear.

Then we can buy different armor and equip them with runes as you do with normal characters.

No more salvaging, and you can store them in your new hero storage.

great idea, i find it really a pain to switch builds for my heroes as well, since I gotta switch weapons and foci. My storage is already so full of stuff I swap and use across my 10 characters, that there's really no room for all their theoretically 160 heroes as well.

I'm sorry, but when my Oilas goes from MM to SS he'll just have to run underpowered since I'm not going to resalvage/store/or buy another sup rune for him just to switch. Same w/ the weapon/foci bit. And logging in and back out is always a crummy option when you're usually switching hero builds because you're in a party/pug and your heroes overlap.

Also, why can't we save out and load builds for our heroes like we can for our regular player characters? Or even load builds we use for our regular characters. That way it won't take many times longer while everyone goes and reskills all their heroes to the correct builds as well.

They will probably get around to it. They would have just rushed out the first version of the heros with the game and the update.

It will all get expanded upon eventually.

The headgear thing would be sweet.. I'm tired of having to salvage and switch runes if I play a different build.

/notsigned we have extra storage now no need for it on the heros/inventory

as for the head piece.... /maybe though I have both necros and just use one for curses (ss) and the other as an mm. I dont run any blood so no need for me. others maybe but i dunno. The only proff that would need this is maybe Norgu as he is the only mesmer or the assassin chick but i dont think anyone uses her anyway. (cept me and thats rarely)
